No Hoboken Street Cleaning for Friday, January 9th—But Shovel Your Sidewalk ASAP…
Did it snow this morning? Yes.
Hoboken has received less than an inch of snow this morning. This fluffy, white precipitation is a form of frozen water, thus making it slippery. Please be advised.
Also be advised that Street Cleaning in Hoboken has been suspended today.

By the time this post hits your newsfeed, the snow will have tapered off. In fact, the rest of the day could be sunny, with a high reaching 32 degrees.
Tonight, however, it’ll dip back down into the teens—which means even this relatively slight snowfall will freeze over. As it is compacted throughout the day from constant foot traffic, it will create an even more slippery condition throughout the night and into the weekend.
So please shovel*. There’s not even that much to do, but the sooner you do it the easier it’ll be.
