“Try Rugby” — Free Hoboken Youth Rugby Clinic SUNDAY

After a great first weekend, another free Hoboken youth rugby clinic is on for THIS SUNDAY.

Play Rugby USA, in conjunction with Hoboken Rugby and Bayonne Rugby, are offering a free ‘Try Flag Rugby*’ session Sundays at Hoboken High School’s JFK Football Stadium (entrance on 10th & Jefferson). After the trial sessions, the program will launch into a proper season, scheduled to begin in April.

Based upon demand, the program will shift attention to building up the RuggerTots (4-6 year-olds) and Elementary group (7-11 year-olds, up to and including 5th grade).

*Flag rugby is the same premise as flag football—minimal contact, skills oriented.
