GOV. MURPHY: New Jersey State Parks to Reopen at Dawn on Saturday, May 2

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has announced that he will be signing an executive order today that will allow for the reopening of State Parks and golf courses, effective at sunrise on May 2.

Parks have been closed since April 7, due to concerns over COVID-19.

Social distancing protocols will remain in place, as New Jersey continues to fight the spread of the disease—which has claimed nearly 6,000 lives statewide since March.
